Project Background & Objectives

Numbers was feeling the pinch of time – their website was as dated as a disco ball in a smartphone era. This beacon for Vancouver’s nightlife needed a digital facelift.

Numbers aimed to not only revitalize their online presence but also to create an engaging platform that reflects their dynamic, diverse, and inclusive ethos. They wanted their patrons, both LGBTQIA2S+ and straight allies, to find a virtual space as welcoming and lively as the physical bar itself.

Strategy & Concept

Armed with Numbers’ existing brand elements – logo, some content, and show-stopping photography – we set out to capture the bar’s spirit in pixels and code. Our blueprint was to build a WordPress-powered site that radiated inclusivity and excitement, just like Numbers itself.

Incorporating a colour scheme that echoed the energy inside Numbers’ walls, we added functionality to sync with EventBrite, allowing patrons to stay updated with upcoming events right from the website. The website not only informed but also invited users to explore what makes Numbers a staple of Vancouver’s social scene.

Performance

Leaving their old web persona in the dust, we rocketed Numbers into the modern age with impeccable performance – 100/100 PageSpeed scores on both mobile and desktop. Our digital craftsmanship shone through, reflecting our dedication to creating an online experience as seamless and enjoyable as a night out at the bar.

Outcome & Results

Brimming with personality, the new Numbers website is now a digital hotspot. Visitors can effortlessly browse upcoming events, peruse the drink menu, and even plan their special events by booking the venue online. We transformed their dated website into an on-brand, engaging hub that serves its community with pride.
