Project Background & Objectives
Box Around Your Heart came to us with a powerful mission but no online presence to carry it. They’re transforming youth mental health support in Richmond, BC by creating safe spaces, driving change, and making sure every young person can access hope, safety, and care when they need it most. They needed a website that could advocate, educate, and mobilize. Our goal? Build a digital platform that amplifies their voice, supports their advocacy work, and helps them connect with the youth, families, and community partners who need them.
Strategy & Concept
We approached this project with empathy and clarity, designing an information architecture that simplifies navigation for users seeking support in difficult times. Content was restructured and optimized to speak directly and compassionately to youth and families, making information easy to find and understand. Technical SEO improvements ensured the site can be found by those who need it most. We wrapped it all up in a WordPress build that’s as reliable as a warm hug, with WCAG 2.1 AA compliance ensuring no one is left behind.

Box Around Your Heart now shines with near-perfect PageSpeed scores—97 on mobile and 100 on desktop, and a solid 100 across accessibility, SEO, and best practices. It’s fast, friendly, and built to keep up with the urgent needs of mental health seekers.
